In the beginning, God created the heavens and earth. There was great darkness that covered the waters of earth. And god’s spirit stood over the waters of earth.
God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light. God saw that light was good, and God divided light from darkness. God called light ‘day’, and darkness he called ‘night.’ Evening came and morning came; The first day…
God said, ‘Let there be heaven to divide the waters.’ And so it was. God made Heaven, it divided the waters above heaven from the waters below heaven, evening came and morning came; The second day…
God said, ‘Let dry land appear.’ And so it was. God called the dry land ‘earth’ and the mass of waters ‘seas’ And God saw that it was good.
God said, ‘Let the earth produce plants and fruit trees.’ And so it was. God saw that it was good. Evening came and morning came; The third day…
God said, ‘Let there be lights in heaven to shine on the earth. And so it was. God made the sun to rule the day, the moon to rule the night and the stars. God saw that it was good. Evening came and morning came; The forth day…
God said, ‘Let fish swim in the waters and let birds fly in heaven.’ And so it was. God saw that it was good. Evening came and morning came; The fifth day…
God said, ‘Let there be animals, cattle, reptiles, and wild beasts. And so it was. God saw that it was good.
God said, ‘I will make man in my image, and let him be master of the animals. So God made man of the dust from the ground. Then he breathed the breath of life, and man became a living being.
God said, ‘it is not good that man is alone. He should have a helpmate.
So God brought all the animals to man. A man gave names to all the cattle, all the birds o heaven, and all the wild beasts. But none of them with the right helpmate for man.
So God made the man fall into a deep sleep. And while he slept, God took one of the man’s ribs and covered it with flesh. God made the rib into woman, and brought her to man.
The man exclaimed, ‘At last, this is my helpmate! I will call her woman, for she has come from man, her bones from my bones, her flesh from my flesh.
God blessed them, saying multiply, fill the earth, and conquer it. Be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of heaven, an all the living animals on earth.
And so it was. God saw all that had been made, and it was very good. Evening came and morning came; the sixth day…
On the seventh day, God finished the creation of heaven and earth. God blessed the day and made it holy, because on that day God rested. Such was the creation.
God, Earth is completely full of things you have made; What variety you have created, arranging everything so wisely!
